Dear LMDES Families, 

If you are picking up your child for an early dismissal, please inform your child's teacher and Ms. VerHaagh (smverhaagh@smcps.org) as soon as possible.  This helps to get your child dismissed to you in a timely manner.

Picture Day is coming!  Picture Day is this Thursday, 9/24/26.  Students were given a flyer on Thursday 9/17 and/or Friday, 9/18.  See the flyer below for more information or to order your pictures online. 

There is no school for students this Friday, 9/25/2026.

Kindergarten Registration - Open registration for students who will be five years old by September 1, 2026 continues throughout the summer.

Regularly reviewing bus expectations with your student will help ensure a safe ride to and from school each day. Riding the bus is a privilege; it takes all of us to safely transport our students each day. Thank you for your support!
