Understanding Our School Improvement Plan
At Town Creek, we are committed to providing the very best education and opportunities for every student. One important way we do this is through our School Improvement Plan (SIP).A School Improvement Plan is a roadmap that helps guide our school's goals and priorities. It identifies what we are doing well, areas where we can grow, and the specific steps we will take to help all students succeed. How is the plan developed?
Creating a School Improvement Plan is a team effort. We review information such as:
Student academic performance
Attendance and behavior data
Student, parent, and staff feedback
Strengths and challenges within our school community
Why is it important?
The School Improvement Plan helps ensure that we are all working toward the same goals. It allows us to:
Focus on student achievement
Strengthen teaching and learning practices
Support students' social and emotional well-being
Make informed decisions about programs and resources
Strengthen partnerships and communication with families
The 2025-2026 School Improvement Plan can be found on the TCES website. Throughout the year, the plan is monitored by regularly reviewing student achievement, attendance, behavior, and other school data to measure progress toward our goals. We are currently reviewing multiple data points and gathering feedback to develop, share, implement, and monitor this year's School Improvement Plan so it reflects the needs of our students, staff, families, and community.
